Nowshera, Jan 06 (KNO): Deputy Chief Minister, Surinder Choudhary, Monday paid a visit to the revered Gurudwara in Nowshera to join the celebrations of 358th birth anniversary of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji. While interacting with the devotees and people, he extended his heartfelt greetings and prayed for peace, harmony and prosperity to all on this auspicious occasion. Later, the Deputy CM inspected the ongoing construction work of a car parking facility being developed by the Municipal Committee Nowshera at the Bus Stand. The project, being raised with an estimated cost of Rs 4.75 crore, is a significant step towards addressing parking challenges in the area. During the inspection, Surinder Choudhary directed the executing agency to expedite the construction work, ensuring its timely completion. He emphasized that this facility will greatly benefit locals and visitors by providing a convenient and organized parking space. “This project is a much-needed initiative to cater to the growing demands of the region. Once completed, it will improve the overall traffic management and ease the lives of commuters,” said the Deputy CM. The visit underscored the government's commitment towards improving urban infrastructure and promoting communal harmony through meaningful engagements and development initiatives.
